GAH Completes Acquisition of Illiquid Security Platform

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - October 21, 2008) - Global Access Holdings LLC (GAH) announced the closing of its acquisition of the Zealous Alternative Trading System for illiquid securities. The ZATS platform is an alternative trading system that enables investment firms to transact in illiquid securities including PIPEs, warrants, and other financing vehicles.

GAH has renamed the platform Global Access Trading Engine (GATE), highlighting the ability of the platform to power transactions in illiquid securities. GAH will be focused upon working with broker dealers and investment firms to enable their operations access to the ever increasing market for illiquid financial products.

Mr. Molinari also highlighted some of the new functionality being worked on for GATE. Company specific metrics, research reports, and news and media tracking are all being incorporated into the GATE platform to increase the transparency and information available on these illiquid securities. GAH has retained Ockham Research LLC, an independent research solutions firm, to offer the initial research coverage of thousands of securities with valuation metrics and related analyses.
